▪ How did your fitness journey begin, and what inspires you to keep going?
Since I was a kid, I used to like sports, and been always active. I even used to register in gyms when I was 13 and 14 years old, but during that time didn’t really know what I had to do and how to train. Later when I graduated from school, one of my friends encouraged me to attend a gym class with her, at the beginning I hesitated, but then ended up going, the class was so much fun, and by time I started seeing results and that’s what inspired me to keep going, because as they say “once you see results, it becomes an addiction”.
▪ What’s your favorite style of exercise?
My favorite style of exercise is weightlifting. In my opinion I think that weightlifting is the best exercise for getting a strong body, with a feminine shape and nice curves.
▪ What do you consider is the most important supplement when working out regularly?
I think whey protein is a great supplement to take daily after your workout, because it’s a quick meal full of protein that can be absorbed by your muscles quickly, and which will lead to recovering your muscle after the workout, plus building your muscles and burning fat.
▪ How many rest days per week should a person who is just getting started with working out take?
I think it’s good to train 4 days per week as a beginner, so you can rest the other 3 days, because at the beginning you need to start slowly in order to get your muscles adapt to the new routine.
▪ A piece of advice on staying motivated and achieving your set goals?
My advice to you girls is that you should know you can’t get results while only wishing or nagging about wanting to make a change. You should take action and start. And in order to keep going and stay motivated, do something you love and enjoy. Don’t consider exercise as a torture for your body, instead it’s a celebration for what your body is capable to do.
